Could Shaq Join Lebron James & The Cavs???

shaq-and-lebron

As of 12:03pm E.T., there was word from Brian Windhorst of the Cleveland Plain Dealer that the Cleveland Cavaliers have offered Ben Wallace and Sasha Pavlovic to the Phoenix Suns in exchange for Shaquille O’Neal. There is still no finalized deal but both sides have until 3pm E.T. to finalize the deal. If this goes on and a trade occurs, this will be bad news for the Eastern Conference, especially the Boston Celtics. Lebron James and Shaq qill be a real problem to the East. I kind of want this trade to occur so that the Cavs could meet the Lakers in the 2009 NBA Finals. Stay tuned until later on tonight to get an update on trades made by the deadline.

Bull and Kings Pull Off Trade

bull-and-kings-trade-09

Last night while I attended the 76ers and Nuggets game, I checked my phone to look at the latest news on ESPN and noticed that the Chicago Bulls and Sacramento Kings pulled off a trade before the trade deadline. In the trade the Kings sent John Salmons and Brad Miller to Chicago in exchange for Drew Gooden, Andres Nocioni, Cedric Simmons, and Michale Ruffin. the Kings then went and sent Michael Ruffin to the Portland Trail Blazers for Ike Diogu and cash considerations. I’m upset the Bulls sent Andres Nocioni to Sacramento because I liked his game, but the league is a business and it was a business deal. The NBA trade deadline ends TODAY at 3pm. I’m anxious to see what other deals occur.

Breaking News: Tyson Chandler Trade Is Off

tyson-chandler

After being traded on Tuesday by the New Orleans Hornets to the Oklahoma City Thunder, it appears that Chandler will be returning to the Hornets. After being sidelined with an injury that kept him out of action for the 12 games before all-star break, Tyson Chandler failed his physical with the Thunder. Team doctors said that his left big toe was at a risk where re-injury would be detrimental to the Thunder. So, now that Chandler is returning to his team, how awkward will this be? I think the trade should not have happened in the first place.
