STEPHON MARBURY IS FINALLY FREE

marbury

After a long time of back and forth with the New York Knicks, the team has finally decided to reach a buyout agreement with guard Stephon Marbury. When asked to player very early in the season it was rumored that Marbury said he was not going to play in that particular game. When the rumors of him going to Boston were leaked, the Knicks became really hesitant on letting him go, especially to a division rival. Yesterday, the team finally was able to reach a buyout with Stephon Marbury. Since the buyout was agreed upon before Sunday (deadline), Marbury is allowed to play during the playoffs if a team picks him up. Boston is a good spot because when Garnett returns it will bring former teammates back together along with the other talent on the team. Let’s wait and see if Boston will pick him up.

TNA “Lockdown” Pay-Per-View Live in Philly April 19, 2009

tna

Well, I get this email from the Liacouras Center at Temple University in Philadelphia, PA talking about Total Nonstop Wrestling (TNA) being live for a pay-per-view event – “Lockdown.” This is crazy! Not only is it in Philly, but its in my backyard (Temple University). Tickets go on sale to the public this Saturday. I’m actually debating on whether or not to go because of the nature of the event. It’s not the WWE but its really closer to home then the Wachovia Center and its a pay-per-view event.
