After a long time of back and forth with the New York Knicks, the team has finally decided to reach a buyout agreement with guard Stephon Marbury. When asked to player very early in the season it was rumored that Marbury said he was not going to play in that particular game. When the rumors of him going to Boston were leaked, the Knicks became really hesitant on letting him go, especially to a division rival. Yesterday, the team finally was able to reach a buyout with Stephon Marbury. Since the buyout was agreed upon before Sunday (deadline), Marbury is allowed to play during the playoffs if a team picks him up. Boston is a good spot because when Garnett returns it will bring former teammates back together along with the other talent on the team. Let’s wait and see if Boston will pick him up.

~Signing Off~

  1. Boston doesn’t need another ego-head on their team, plain and simple. There’s no spot for him other than riding the pine and coming in around the same time the fans start leaving the arena. They need someone that would shoot perimeter jumpers or feed the post, not hog the ball on drives into triple coverage.

    Just my thoughts.
