North Catholic High School In Philadelphia Closing In 2010

This is the saddest news I have heard in some time……besides Cole Hamels pitching today. Northeast Catholic High School in Philadelphia (my high school) is closing after 2009 – 2010 school year. I attended from 2001 – 2005 and there were many memories. It’s sad but sometimes things come to an end.

Colorado Rockies 5 – Philadelphia Phillies 4 (Game 2)

The Rockies did not want to go home down 2 games and they are not. Adam Cook pitched a pretty solid game for the Rockies and even with a chance to come back, the Phillies fell short. Cole Hamels has not had success against the Rockies in the playoffs and just continues to have a disappointing season. The Rockies won 5-4 and tie the series 1-1. Game 3 is on Saturday.

Eagles QB, Michael Vick, announced that he will be starring in a BET Reality Show, that will air next year. The show will be called “The Michael Vick Project” and focus on how he has been changing since being incarcerated for Dog-Fighting Charges. This will be interesting to see. I wonder how many episodes will air.
