On March 19th 2012, ultra-endurance athlete, Jason Lester, will begin the Journey for a Better World. He will be running and biking over 4,000 miles across the United States, relaying the Nike message that a better world starts with sport. Along the way, Jason will be stopping at 39 Nike Stores, sharing how sport inspires hope, instills discipline, raises confidence and rallies communities just like yours. Show your support by joining Jason along the journey and ignite a fire to create one of your own.
This is your formal invitation to join Jason and the Nike Better World team for a 3.65 mile run through your city. Lace up your shoes, run or walk with Jason, rally your friends, and show your support for Nike’s commitment to a better world.
Inspire others to attend one of the Journey for a Better World events by documenting your own experience on Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram using the hashtags #betterworld #journey. Long after Jason moves on to the next stop, you and your community will continue blazing new trails, knocking down barriers and creating a better world through sport.
On Wednesday, March 21, 2012 Nike Factory Store in Franklin Mills in Philadelphia, PA will be Jason Lester’s 4th stop on the Journey for a Better World!
