The Chicago Bulls took a 1-0 series lead over the Philadelphia 76ers today but may have lost even more. Their star point guard, Derrick Rose, tore his ACL, towards the and of the game and will be out for the rest of the playoffs. The Bulls won the game 103-91, but as Rose went to the lane he landed bad in where he tore his ACL in his knee. The Bulls will really miss Rose’s presence on the floor, especially as they look to make a playoff push.

2010-2011 NBA Eastern Conference Playoffs

The Eastern Conference Playoffs are set for the NBA!!! There are a lot of good match-ups and potential 2nd and Championship match-ups. The most intriguing will be the No. 3 & No. 6 seed in the first round between the Boston Celtics and New York Knicks. A lot of people are saying the Knicks are the upset alert team because of the way Boston has been playing and with the loss of Kendrick Perkins in the middle. Besides this match-up, we will see the No. 1 Chicago Bulls face off with the No. 8 Indiana Pacers, No. 4 Orlando Magic vs. No. 5 Atlanta Hawks, and the No. 2 Miami Heat vs. No. 7 Philadelphia 76ers. It will be a crazy set of games to reach the finals in the East.
