Louisville Ends Syracuse Road to Big East Championship

Syracuse has nothing to be mad about even though they lost last night to the Big East Champions, Louisville. They went through 6 overtimes with Connecticut on Thursday, 1 overtime with West Virginia on Friday, and just came up short last night in the championship game. Louisville’s Andre McGee led his team in a big win over the team many thought deserved to win because its tournament wins. Louisville now has a legit chance to win a No. 1 seed in the big dance. Syracuse’s Johnny Flynn was named tournament MVP.

Marquette Destroys St. John’s in Big East Tourney

One day after eliminating powerhouse Georgetown, St. John’s was ruffed up by Marquette in a 74-45 beat down in the Big East tourney in Madison Square Garden. St. John’s played so bad that they only scored 10 points in the first half. Wesley Mathews led the Golden Eagles to victory with 20 points into tomorrows match-up with Villanova. This should be a dandy!
