NFL Week 2 had some really good games once again. The Sunday Night game was great, unfortunately, Michael Vick suffered a concussion and wasn’t able to finish the game. Atlanta won 35-31. Other scores from this weekend:

Denver Broncos Trade WR Brandon Marshall To Miami

Around this time last year, the Broncos traded Jay Cutler to the Chicago Bears. Sources on ESPN just broke the story about another big deal just a year later, today, of WR Brandon Marshall being traded to Miami. The Broncos will receive two draft picks for Marshall.

Super Bowl 44 – New Orleans Saints 31 – Indianapolis Colts 17

Well the first time is a charm! The New Orleans Saints defeated the Indianapolis Colts 31-17 in their first ever Super Bowl appearance. Drew Brees had 288 yards passing and 2 touchdowns. Peyton Manning had 333 passing yards and 1 touchdown and 1 interception.

NFL Pro Bowl: AFC 41 – NFC 34

The NFL Pro Bowl was in Miami this year and a week before the Super Bowl for the first time in history. Houston’s Matt Shaub had a game with 189 yards passing and 2 touchdowns for the AFC’s 41-34 victory and was named game MVP. The Eagles’ DeSean Jackson had 101 receiving yards and 2 touchdowns for the NFC.

AFC Playoffs: NY Jets 17 – San Diego Chargers 14

The Jets have surprised two home teams in a row with big road victories. Last week it was the against the Bengals and this week it was against the Chargers. The team was led by rookies Mark Sanchez and Shonn Greene, with a touchdown a piece and leading to a 17-14 win. No it is off to play the Colts for the AFC Championship.
