NCAA College Football Week 10: (3)TCU Rolls Over (5)Utah 47-7

TCU has become a powerhouse in the last few seasons, and this year they are continuing the dominance. Ranked 3rd in the BCS Standings, TCU had a tough match-up with (5)Utah yesterday, but made it look easy. TCU rolled all over Utah 47-7. QB Andy Dalton throws 355 yards and 3 touchdowns for TCU in the big win.

(No. 14) USC 49 – Hawaii 36

Despite the off-season trouble the USC program got into and not being eligible for post season games this season, the Trojans came out strong against Hawaii in the season opener. QB for USC, Matt Barkley threw for 5 touchdowns and receiver Ronald Johnson had 3 of them. The Trojans won 49 -36.

GMAC Bowl: Central Michigan 44 – Troy 41 (F/2OT)

Probably one of the most entertaining bowl games this bowl season was last night with Central Michigan and Troy who have never faced each other in a bowl game. It was back and forth until the 4th quarter when Troy had a 31-17 lead. Then, Central Michigan came back and even took the lead 34-31. Troy came back to tie the game and the game went into overtime. Central Michigan QB Dan LeFevour led his team down the field in double-overtime and finally Central Michigan got the game-winning field goal to win the GMAC Bowl 44-41.

UCONN 33 – Notre Dame 30 (F/2OT)

UCONN got a big victory today over Notre Dame. Already in some heat, Charlie Weiss’ days in Notre Dame seemed numbered. The Huskies and Fighting Irish battled it out until a field goal in double-overtime was the winner for UCONN. This was a big win and was definitely for slain teammate Jasper Howard!
