The Philadelphia Flyers are one win away from sweeping the “favorite” to win it all, Pittsburgh Penguins. They won big again today by a score of 8-4. There were 12 total goals and 133 penalty minutes during the crazy game. Danny Briere, Matt Read and Max Talbot each scored two goals and Wednesday they can end the series.

Super Bowl XLV: Green Bay Packers Vs. Pittsburgh Steelers

Congrats goes out to the Green Bay Packers and Pittsburgh Steelers as they will meet each other in two weeks in Super Bowl XLV. In both of their games, their opponents were mounting a comeback but the Packers and Steelers were able to hold off. The Packers had and early 14-0 lead over the Bears and held off to win the NFC Championship 21-14. The Steelers had a 24-0 lead over the NY Jets and held off to win the AFC Championship 24-19.

Steelers & Packers Advance To Conference Championship Games

The Pittsburgh Steelers and Green Bay Packers have both advanced to their respective Conference Championship games next week after big wins yesterday. The Packers dominated the whole game against the Atlanta Falcons winning 48-21. The way Aaron Rodgers is playing, don’t be surprised to see the Packers in the Super Bowl. The Steelers came from behind yesterday to beat the Ravens after trailing 21-7 at a point in the game. Congrats to both.

Ravens & Packers Advance To Next Round In NFL Playoffs

The Green Bay Packers and Baltimore Ravens both just about dominated in their wild-card round games yesterday to advance the NFL Playoffs. The Ravens took advantage of the Chiefs mistakes to win big by the score of 20-7. The Packers took advantage of Eagles missed opportunities and won their game 21-16. Ravens play the Steelers and Packers play Atlanta next week.

Seattle Seahawks Shock New Orleans Saints In NFL Playoff Victory

The Seattle Seahawks shocked many people in the opening game of the NFL Playoffs yesterday as they defeated the defending Super Bowl Champion Saints. The Saints had control of the game during the first half, but the Seahawks led by QB Matt Hasselbeck, came back and shocked many by leading his team to a 41-36 victory over the defending champs. Hasselbeck threw 4 touchdowns in the big win.

NFL AFC Championship Game: Indianapolis Colts 30 – NY Jets 17

Well the Jets were the underdogs but could not bring down the favorites today. Peyton Manning threw three touchdowns and passed for 377 yards for the Colts. The Jets looked hungry but not enough and now the Colts are now headed to the Super Bowl in two weeks.

The Colts will be playing for the AFC Championship next week as the Ravens really didn’t show up last night in round two of the AFC Playoffs. The Ravens offense crumbled and Peyton Manning then took advantage with 246 passing yards and 2 touchdowns in the 20-3 win over the Ravens.

NFC Playoffs: New Orleans 45 – Arizona 14

Reggie Bush and the Saints came to play today. The Saints trashed the Cardinals 45-14 and advanced to the NFC Championship game. Reggie Bush scored 2 touchdowns and Drew Brees passed for 346 yards and 3 touchdowns. The Saints move on to play either the Vikings or Cowboys next week.

NFC Wild Card Game: Arizona 51 – Green Bay 45 (F/OT)

The Arizona Cardinals had a 31-10 lead during the game and almost blew it against the Packers. The game ended up going into overtime. Aaron Rodgers was hit and lost the ball, as Karlos Dansby recovered for the Cardinals and ran it back 17 yards for a 51-45 win over the Packers. Kurt Warner passed for 379 yards and had 5 touchdowns for Arizona.
