Milwaukee Brewers Take Game 1 Of NLCS

The Milwaukee Brewers took game 1 of the NLCS yesterday versus the St. Louis Cardinals. It was an offensive game as the Cardinals held a 5-2 lead until a 6 run inning for the Brewers helped take the lead for good. Ryan Braun and Prince Fielder both homered in the 9-6 victory for the Brew-Crew.

San Francisco Giants Win NLCS To Reach World Series

The San Francisco Giants were able to hold off the Philadelphia Phillies 3-2 last night to win the NLCS and make their way into the World Series. It was a very tough series but the Giants had their terrific bullpen and hungry batters. The World Series begins Wednesday in San Francisco between the Giants and the Texas Rangers.

San Francisco Giants Advance To NLCS

The San Francisco Giants advanced to the NLCS last night with a 3-2 victory over the Atlanta Braves. It is their first time since 2003 reaching the NLCS. For the Atlanta Braves manager, Bobby Cox, it was his last game as a manager as he had previously announce his retirement. Game 1 of the NLCS is Saturday between the Giants and Phillies.

Philadelphia Phillies Advance To NLCS

Congrats go out to the Philadelphia Phillies who were able to complete the 3-game sweep of the Cincinnati Reds last night in the NLDS series. Cole Hamels pitched a gem as he had a complete game shut out, leading the Phillies to a 2-0 win. The Phillies now await the winner of the Giants/Braves series for the NLCS.

LA Angels 5 – NY Yankees 4 (F/11 – NLCS – Game 3)

The series entered LA with a Yankees 2-0 lead and the Angels needing momentum. The Angels went into the 7th inning tied, and took the lead 4-3. Jorge Posada then tied the game 4-4 with a homer in the 8th inning. The game went to extra innings and the Angels won the game in the 11th. The series is now 2-1 Yankees.
