The Philadelphia Eagles didn’t blow the 4th quarter lead this time!!! Vince Young started for the eagles since Michael Vick had his injury and he didn’t look too bad. Young did throw 3 interceptions but he lead an 80 yard to take the 17-10 lead and the Eagles Jason Babin had a forced fumble that sealed the deal.

Philadelphia Eagles Miracle At The Meadowlands Against NY Giants To Win 38-31

The Philadelphia Eagles made a memorable comeback against the NY Giants yesterday after being down 31-10 in the 4th quarter with 8 minutes left! Michael Vick and company rallied to tie the game at 31. Then Giants rookie punter made a major mistake and punted to DeSean Jackson as time was expiring. DeSean muffed the punt but was able to recover the ball and run it back 65 yards to lead the Eagles to a 38-31 HUGE victory over the G-Men and have just about wrapped up the NFC East Title.

New Orleans Saints 48 – NY Giants 27 (Week 6)

Probably the best match-up of the week was between these two teams. Both the NY Giants and New Orleans Saints came into the game undefeated. In order to stop both high scoring teams, the other had to step up on defense. The Giants could not handle Drew Brees and his offense though as the Saints rolled to a 48-27 victory and stay undefeated. Drees threw4 touchdowns and 369 yards…wow!

Philadelphia Eagles Defense Dominates NY Giants, 23-11

nfl_g_samuel_576

Spiting the season series 1-1, the Philadelphia Eagles and New York Giants we meeting for the third time this season and most important match-up of the three. For the most part, the Giants just looked out of sync, especially Giants QB Eli Manning. The Giants did score a safety on the Eagles but could not capitalize anywhere else. The Eagles defense was ready to play with an interception by Asante Samuels, Quintin Mikell with 3:15 left in the game, and two important 4th down stops. The Eagles defeat the No. 1 ranked NY Giants 23-11 and are head to Arizona to meet the Cardinals in the NFC Championship Game next Sunday. We beat them on Thanksgiving 48-20, so that should be a great inspiration to reach the Super Bowl.
