2012 ROSE BOWL & FIESTA BOWL RECAP

Yes….college football is still going on. Last night there were two big bowl games [Oregon vs. Wisconsin and Stanford vs. Oklahoma St.]. Both games were high scoring games and one went into overtime.

The ROSE Bowl was high scoring as the Oregon Ducks win it for the 1st time in 95 years over the Wisconsin Badgers. Darron Thomas passed for three touchdowns, De’Anthony Thomas scored on runs of 91 and 64 yards, and the Ducks (No. 5 BCS, No. 6 AP) earned their first bowl victory under coach Chip Kelly, holding off the Badgers 45-38 Monday night in the highest-scoring Rose Bowl ever played.

In The Fiesta Bowl, potential NFL #1 draft pick, Andre Luck of Stanford had a good game but 2 missed field goals by the kicker and the game going into overtime was all Oklahoma St. needed. Justin Blackmon had a big game for the Oklahoma St. as they win the Fiesta Bowl 41-38 in overtime.

No. 10 Oregon 47 – No. 5 USC 20 (PAC 10 Game)

No. 5 USC Trojans got torn apart last night by the hands of conference rival Oregon. The Ducks were on their A-Game last night. Quarterback Jeremiah Masoli threw for 222 yards and a touchdown and ran for 164 more yards in the 47 – 20 victory for No. 10 Oregon. Now at 6-2 the USC Trojans will definitely be moving down in the polls.
