Steelers & Packers Advance To Conference Championship Games

The Pittsburgh Steelers and Green Bay Packers have both advanced to their respective Conference Championship games next week after big wins yesterday. The Packers dominated the whole game against the Atlanta Falcons winning 48-21. The way Aaron Rodgers is playing, don’t be surprised to see the Packers in the Super Bowl. The Steelers came from behind yesterday to beat the Ravens after trailing 21-7 at a point in the game. Congrats to both.

NFL 2009-2010 Week 4 Recap

My Eagles had off today, but there were still some good games and interesting outcomes this past weekend for football. The Patriots and Ravens game was probably the most interesting match-up for Sunday and ended close. The Patriots showed that they still are a wreck to be messing with. The Ravens had a last chance to take the lead within the final 2 minutes but a dropped pass sealed the deal in the 27-21 victory for the Pats. Other scores were:

[Steelers 38 – Chargers 28] [49ers 35 – Rams 0] [Saints 24 – Jets 10] [Dolphins 38 – Bills 10] [Bears 48 – Lions 28]
[Broncos 17 – Cowboys 10] [Bengals 23 – Browns 20] [Colts 34 – Seahawks 17] [Giants 27 – Chiefs 17]
[Redskins 16 – Buccaneers 13] [Jaguars 37 – Titans 17] [Texans 29 – Raiders 6]

Tonight’s Monday Night game features The Packers at the Vikings.

Well, Well, Well! The NFL Playoffs have officially begun. Yesterday, the Arizona Cardinals were able to contain the Atlanta Falcons in a 30-24 victory. Also, The San Diego Chargers were able to pull off an overtime victory over the Indianapolis Colts by the score of 23-17. Today’s first game was the Baltimore Ravens @ the Miami Dolphins, which the Raven’s defense took care of business with 4 interceptions off of Chad Pennington and most importantly a 27-9 victory. The late game had the Philadelphia Eagles @ Minnesota Vikings in which the Eagles won 26-14 (I know the game is not officially done, but we are gonna win!). Next week’s games will: Ravens @ Titans, Chargers @ Steelers, Cardinals @ Panthers, and Eagles @ Giants!
