Another hot retro sneaker to release this year is the Nike Big Nike High. The first colorway it will release in is probably the most original and known colorway every created. The sneaker is varsity red/black/white and has a gum bottom. As you can see it has Nike real big on the back of the sneaker. Look out for this sneaker as it has a possible Summer 2009 release.

For this years NBA All Star Game held in Phoenix, DJ Clark Kent designed three pairs of the Nike Air Force 1, here’s a detailed look at the Quickstrike model. The QS version is just as dressed up and detailed as the first Air Force 1 seen earlier this month. Featured is the home town colors of black, orange, purple and yellow. Orange and purple paneling is made up of a basketball material while the rest of the sneaker is adorned in black leather with yellow stitching. Also found on the Air Force 1 are purple laces marked with yellow stars. Lastly, lace locks and and insoles split the shoes into the Western and Eastern conferences. Release is scheduled for next month around the All Star Game.

Yet another No. 1 team in college basketball gets upset. Wake Forest just became the No. 1 ranked team this week as Pittsburgh loss and fell to No. 4. Last night Wake Forest faced Virginia Tech, at home. Malcolm Delaney dropped 21 in the upset victory for the V-Tech Hokies. The Hokies had as high as an 16 point lead on Wake Forest. The final score was 78-71, Virginia Tech. It looks like being ranked No. 1 this season is overrated because this is about the 3rd or 4th time this season that when there is a new No. 1 team, they get upset. Let’s see who is next!

The Arizona Cardinals started strong and had an 18 point lead on the Eagles up to the 3rd quarter. Larry Fitzgerald was almost untouchable. He ended with 3 touchdowns in the game. The Cardinals defense also was key in the victory as they got to McNabb plenty of times during the game. The Eagles made a strong comeback and were close to victory but the Cardinals were the better team this game winning 32-25 and are now headed to Super Bowl 43.

So I finally got to make it to NYC this weekend. I’ve been trying to go for some time now, I just couldn’t pick the right weekend when I had some one to go with and actually go to a few spots. I took the trip with my girlfriend and we stood at the Milford Plaza Hotel on 700 8th Avenue (right near Times Square). When we arrived we took the R-Train Downtown to go to the Michael K store on 512 Broadway. We went to a few other spots around and returned back to the hotel for a little. Then we head to Times Square. First stop was the M&M’s World store where everything is M&M’s and we made a custom bag filled with M&M’s. Then we headed to the NBA Store on 52nd Street and 5th Avenue where I grabbed a nice grey/green New Era Boston Celtics fitted hat. The last store we went to was NikeTown where I personally experienced the NikeID studios and customized a pair of Nike Dunks. It was cool and can’t wait to get them.

Here is a picture of another chapter in the Air Jordan Fusion family book……the Air Jordan Fusion IX. I’m not a fan of the fusions at all but made this post because there are actually people that like them and they will be releasing this year.
