Fat Joe – Terror Squad Sneakers “The Recession”

This is somewhat interesting that I found on Sneaker Files! It looks like Fat Joe and the Terror Squad will be releasing a sneaker titled “The Recession” about the perfect time that we are currently in. I think if this were associated with a major sneaker brand it would be making a bigger impact but since it is reported to sell in Sears and K-Mart, then this sneakers sounds like it will be a low price affordable sneakers for people that are being affected by “The Recession.”

John Calipari Signs With Kentucky

Well, he slept on it and decided to leave Memphis and head to Kentucky. Coach John Calipari is known for his recruiting skills and that is what Kentucky was looking for. He also has is a great overall coach who knows how to win games. Calipari has not coached in a major conference before (A10 and C-USA) and is now going to a major conference in the SEC. This will have an effect on recruits that were deciding to go to Memphis because of Coach Calipari and the recruits who will then decide to come to Kentucky. It will be interesting to see how Memphis turns out next season losing Calipari and Tyreke Evans who will opt to enter the NBA draft this summer.

Will John Calipari Sign With Kentucky?

After Kentucky fired coach Billy Gillispie, the first name as a possible candidate was Florida’s head coach Billy Donovan. Then on Sunday and Monday, Memphis head coach John Calipari’s name just came up intensively. There is even an offer up of 8 years and $35 million. This would make Calipari the highest paid coach in college basketball. He has talked to his players and said he will sleep on the decision which will make a big impact for both sides.

T.I. – 1 Year & 1 Day In Prison

Well, T.I.’s 45 days of redemption are over as he was finally sentenced in his case of trying to purchase illegal firearms. Originally, Clifford Harrison aka T.I., was suppose to do 20 years, but in a plea agreement, in which he would serve 1,500 hours of community service, the judge allowed to reduce the sentence. Also, with good behavior, 15% of his sentence now may be taken away. This case really turned T.I. into a more mature young man and more of a leader in the hip-hop world. This past year was probably one if not the most effective year for the rapper, as he dropped a great album (Paper Trail) and his clothing line Akoo. It is going to be weird without him around but he has to face the consequences. Now he is due 1 year and 1 day in prison.

Nike Air Yeezy – Black/Pink – Release Info.

There is recent word that the next Nike Air Yeezy’s to release (black/pink) will be releasing on May 2. This has just been mentioned on Sneaker Files so at least wait for release date on the second pair of Yeezy’s. At least waiting to hear about release on these is not any longer.
